【Summary】 The tsunami is one of the natural disasters on the earth. Because it's hard to be predictable ,many of people, who live along the coastline don't have enough time to evacuate immediately. The most difficult thing is that it need to take a lot of time to detect . Therefore the researchers make an effort to make progress in equipment.
The core of the problem is that we should measure whether the earthquake will result in the tsunami or not. Since the earthquake is not generated from just one point, we should detect the accurate positions. Therefore, building the enough seismometers is necessary particularly.
In addition, the panellists point out that Global Positioning System and GNNS play the important role to measure the fine distortion of Earth's crust.
By these technologies ,we hold plenty of information to calculate the relationship between the earthquake and the tsunami. Now, the main task is connecting the information,which is detected around the world, together. Furthermore, the suitable software should be equipped on the smartphone. In this way ,the users can predict the tsunami's travel in time and be notified the threat.
